Rebates are available for:

Heating systems
Qualifying high efficiency heating system purchases entitle customers for up to $500 in rebates. Save money now, and in years to come, with long-term energy savings. For example, CenterPoint Energy offers the following high efficency natural gas heating system rebates:

 Rebate  Equipment 
$150 Natural gas forced air furnace with 92-93.9 percent AFUE
$300 Natural gas forced air furnace with 94-95.9 percent AFUE
$400 Natural gas forced air furnace with 96 percent or higher AFUE
$300 Boiler with 83.5-90.9 percent or higher AFUE
$500 Condensing boiler with 91 percent or greater AFUE

Electronic Igntion Hearth Rebate
CenterPoint Energy natural gas customers can receive a $75 rebate when they install an on-demand (electronic) ignition system for inserts, freestanding stoves or fireplaces. To be eligible for the rebate, these hearth products must be a sealed-combustion/direct-vent unit.

Water heaters
By purchasing a qualifying* high efficiency water heater, you can earn valuable rebates and save money.  HSP has natural gas water heater models that are eligible for money saving rebates. 

For example, CenterPoint Energy offers the following high efficiency natural gas water heater rebates:

$70 Storage tank water heater with .62 EF**
$85 Storage tank water heater with .64 EF**
$100 Storage tank water heater with .67 EF**
$200 Storage tank water heater with .83 EF**

*Natural gas tank-style water heaters only (tankless or instantaneous models do not qualify).
**EF, or Energy Factor, is the ratio of annual useful energy in the heated water to the annual water heater energy consumption, or energy going into the water heater.
